J.O.Y.

J.O.Y. spells Jesus, then Others, and then Yourself, which is the way I have learned to live my life to find true joy! Always putting Jesus first has been the guiding purpose in my life. As a matter of fact, this J.O.Y. principle has been the theme of my life's purpose for several decades now as I have tweaked and upgraded the written PURPOSE of my life every few years. My PURPOSE has always included: 1) J.O.Y., 2) the LORD's prayer, 3) the written goals in my life, and 4) the songs I like to sing with my guitar to remember these things.

Besides these four things, the other major purpose in my life (which overlaps these things) is a Ketubah marriage contract that I wrote between the LORD and I back in 2017. It is included here as an example of what other overcomers can covenant between themselves and Jesus.

This will be my last Sons To Glory newsletter. There are times and seasons for everything God does, and so much change is about to happen in the earth. Therefore, it is time to "bookend" this particular work in SonsToGlory. So, I hope to write some final thoughts and summarize the purpose of this SonsToGlory website which will remain on-line as a finished publication of the gospel of the Kingdom. The other staple product in my spiritual walk has been the influence of the Seven Spirits of God and their importance in my personal life, community, and earth.

The sonship message is what summarizes this sonstoglory website. These writings contain my personal walk into maturity as a son of the heavenly Father. Perhaps this is why this final writing is on Father's day which is also Pentecost on Noah's calendar. Two of my sons and I all have birthday's on Pentecost. Bringing many sons to glory was the goal of Christ's suffering, and our own suffering in Christ is part of becoming a true son of God. I have truly learned to count it all joy when trials and sufferings come. Why? because it leads to maturity as James says:

"Count it all JOY when you face trials of many kinds. Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance have its work, so that you may be mature, and complete, not lacking anything." James 1:2-4

So sonship is about maturity. And joy can even be experienced in the midst of suffering and trials when you know the outcome is conformity into the image of Christ.

The Kingdom of God is likened unto seedtime and harvest. This work now finishes as a seed, which will reap a harvest of sons to glory.

Remember J.O.Y. in always putting Jesus first for the sake of Others and you will find true joy for Yourself.

"The joy of the LORD is my strength!"
Nehemiah 8:10
