Releasing Women in Ministry

by Paul Jablonowski

March 25, 2013

"Yahweh gave the Word; the women who proclaimed it was a great company: Sovereigns of armies flee in haste! And she who remains at home divides the spoil." Psalm 68:11-12 (ISR Scriptures version)

It is great to think about the world's armies, kings and presidents fleeing in haste because of God's proclaimed Word from the lips and hearts of women. Even from the comfort of their own homes! It is the "God of peace" who crushes Satan underneath our feet, and women are perfect vehicles for the word of shalom to come forth. Are we preparing God's daughters to fulfill their calling? Or are we hindering them through the traditions of man which makes the word of God of no effect?

I wrote a chapter in my Sons To Glory book on women apostles, which happened to be chapter 13. It is now in the year 2013, and Yahweh is releasing many women into their callings. This 2013 is the year of releasing women!

China is calling 2013 the year of the snake, but Yahweh is releasing his daughters to crush the head of the serpent. Genesis 3:15 says that the serpent may bruise the woman's heal, but the woman's Seed will crush Satan's head! Now is the time for the Holy Spirit within his Bride body to overcome the enemy through walking in love. It is ironic that it is the "God of Peace" who crushes Satan and not "The Lord of Hosts." Rather it is the Lord of Hosts who is "zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great fervor I am zealous for her." (Zech 8:2). So, Yahweh uses his strength to run after his bride, while teaching His Bride to walk in peace to crush our enemies! Walking in love, joy and peace is the way to overcome Satan.

It is also important to know that we have not received a spirit of bondage that makes us slaves to fear, but we have received the spirit of sonship crying "Father Dear!" Knowing God as Abba Father is key.

If we truly know Yahweh as Abba Father and we are taking up our cross daily, then we are on our way to maturity as a son. Sonship involves being an heir of God with Christ which is inheritance both spiritually and naturally in the earth. Women can also walk in sonship because it is not a matter of gender but of obedience and walking in the Spirit. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God these are sons of God." (Rom. 8:14) The willingness to suffer for Christ is also a characteristic of mature sons who will be glorified in the earth. There are many biblical examples of women who have suffered with Christ and for Christ, but Mary the mother of Jesus is one of the greatest and my personal favorite.

The prophet Simeon told Mary, "yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed." (Luke 2:35) It often takes the suffering of innocent people for others to see their own sins and repent. This is why the death of martyrs is precious in God's sight, because it will bring many more into the Kingdom of light. God offends the mind to reveal the heart.

Jesus was our ultimate example as the only man to ever walk the earth without sin, yet He was innocently crucified to bear our sins.

Esther is another example of a woman who put her own life on the line to spare her people. She may not have felt qualified to be queen of all Persia and then be thrust into the position of having to intercede for her entire nation Israel, but she obeyed when asked, and this obedient heart is what God looks for.

Women have a special grace for birthing.

Paul labored in birth for the maturity of the saints. True intercession is painful like birthing and requires our complete attention and devotion to bring to pass. Those who "stand in the gap" to intercede like Esther or Daniel will experience similar pressure and loneliness and misunderstanding like Jesus did at the cross. It seemed like an utter failure on that fateful Passover day, and He had no encouragement from anyone except His heavenly Father that He was on the right track. When we obey the call to intercede and be a shield for the innocent it will be a Cross to bear.

Since today is Passover, there is no better time to be reminded of the Cross we are all called to carry in order to bring life to those around us. We share in Christ's sufferings when we mourn over what grieves His heart, and stand against those principalities which are contrary to righteousness.

But judgment starts in the house of God, and we must cleanse ourselves and wash each others feet both in the spirit and in the natural. Passover is also a great time to wash each others feet. Pictured above are my hands washing and releasing the feet of my wife on 2013 Passover!

On Passover night, John 13:12-17 records: "So when Jesus had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and LORD, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your LORD and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you DO them.""

Cleansing is happening in the bride of Christ. Yahweh is releasing women to bring a cleansing tide of the blood of Jesus! It will bring a tidal wave of cleansing to the rest of the body of Christ and bring in the harvest of souls which is the reward of Jesus' suffering!
