My Trip To the Nation of Israel

by Paul Jablonowski

October 2015

Israel is the Holy Land because the holiest man who has ever walked this earth, Jesus the son of God was born, lived and shed His blood in this land for the sins of the world. There is no one greater than Yahoshua which is Jesus' name in Hebrew. Many pronounce it Yeshua which means salvation.

I visited Israel with Living Stones Israel which is a Messianic Jewish group that not only tours the popular Holy Places in the land, but also introduces you to the Messianic congregations that worship in Israel. Messianic Jews believe that Jesus is God but also continue to honor the Hebrew Sabbaths and traditions. They maintain their Jewish identity in Messiah Yeshua.

Our tour had 33 people from all over the world, including UK, France, Singapore and Scotland. One man in our group had grown up for 29 years in Lebanon and was thrilled to be able to see the land where Jesus walked and to bless the nation of Israel. Many Arabs are now coming to see the love of Jesus and wanting to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. A Kuwaiti Prince is just one of many examples of Arabs coming to faith in Jesus.

For over 20 years now, I have wanted to visit Israel and I was not disappointed! What a miracle nation! We have supported the Israeli based ministry MAOZ Israel since 2002 and Mr. Sorko Ram has an excellent booklet on why we as Gentile Christians should be "foster fathers" to the nation of Israel. Here is a short part of that booklet that is worth reading: To the Jew First

Rather than writing about the many many wonderful experiences we had in Israel, I will simply show some pictures of our times in Israel with short explanations. There was an overwhelming sense of peace and protection throughout this time. I would encourage you to visit the nation of Israel. It was amazing!
